Activity Points (AP) are bankable points rewarded for bonus activity in the game. These points are to incentivize current players to go above and beyond AC when they are able, but may also be rewarded for other contributions to the game. AP can be exchanged for IC clues to the mysteries of Mathias, special encounters for your character, and other exciting things yet to be announced. Be aware that using these points doesn't absolve your character or the game at large of any consequences from these discoveries or encounters might provoke.

During activity check, you may turn in additional threads to earn AP; be sure these threads/comments aren't also being used for your base AC requirement in the current or previous months. AP comments may come from any number of threads. Threads for AP may have been started in any month, and comments may have been made in any month. (Consider this your buffer. Are you a few comments short in December but still have a couple of straggler comments from October? Claim 'em!)

Only TDM threads starting after your character has been accepted to the game qualify for AP. Tags that consist of only dialogue count as 0.5 comments.

SPENDING AP
Up to three rewards may be claimed per overview log: (1) idea and (1) spot hidden, spooky encounter, or future revelation and (1) history revealed. History Revealed is an advance redemption and will be occur in the following log. All rewards are awarded to the character whose AP purchased them except for History Revealed, which may be gifted to another character.

2 AP » Spot Hidden to notice or discover something otherwise unseen.
5 AP » Spooky Encounter to have a personal spooky experience in Mathias.
5 AP » Future Revelation to have a vision about the future in canon.
10 AP + 1 Sanity » History Revealed to have a dream about the past in Mathias.

BANKING & SPENDING AP
To bank and spend AP, create a top level for your character using the appropriate form in the space below. This top level with act as your permanent AP bank. When spending AP, comment to your character's bank with what you're buying with your revised AP bank total. Players should record their spent AP after the AP request has been approved (except in the case of Future Revelation). Sometimes there is nothing to Spot with your Hidden and the points will be "refunded" to use elsewhere.

Players may bank a maximum of 150 AP per character.
